We are pleased to announce that with effect from 1 January 2025, all new clients on the Lim & Tan Online Trading platform will enjoy auto-enabled SGX market depth till 31 December 2026. No action is necessary from the clients.

In addition to gaining access to our Enhanced Market Depth, we have also introduced the Enhanced Time and Sales to help in your trading.

1a. Enhanced Market Depth - Online Trading platform

The breakdown showing the number of orders and the quantity of shares in each order can now be seen.

At the price of $30.78 there is a total of 8,400 shares on queue. With the enhanced Market Depth, it can now be seen that there are 9 orders (in brackets) that make up these 8,400 shares.





The price highlighted in Red or Green further shows the number of shares on queue in each of these 9 orders - i.e. 500, 800, 1700, 1000, 200, 1000, 1000, 1200 and 1000 shares respectively. The detailed breakdown is real-time streaming and will only show the first 40 points of data per Bid or Ask side.

1b. Enhanced Market Depth - limtan Mobile Channels (iPhone/iPad/Android)

The redemption for complimentary 20-levels Streaming Market Depth service in conjunction with SGX will cease on 31 Dec 2026. Please subscribe via our Loyalty Module for continuous, undisrupted Market Depth access.

2. Enhanced Time & Sales

When a trade is filled, Time & Sales will consolidate the orders within that trade that are of the same time and price into the same row. No data is lost, just presented differently. This will result in a cleaner interface that shows a better view of Buy Up and Sell Down trades.

Another new feature is that the top row - i.e. currently showing a 10:36:49 trade of 200 shares of DBS @ $30.79 Buy Up - will show the latest done price. This allows you to always see the very latest trade done even if you navigate to the other Time & Sales pages.
