Biometric Authentication for Order Placement on LTS Mobile Apps (W.E.F. 24 January 2026)

Please be informed that effective 24 January 2026, Lim & Tan Securities (LTS) will introduce Biometric Authentication for Order Placement on the LTS Mobile Apps. This enhancement builds on the existing biometric login capability already available on the mobile channels of our Online trading platform.

Overview
The Biometric Authentication Service allows clients to use biometric credentials stored on their mobile devices (e.g., Face ID or fingerprint) as a unified alternative to passwords for both login and order submission. The use of this feature is optional, and clients may continue using their existing Login ID and password if they prefer.
Kindly note that the Biometric Authentication can be enabled on only one mobile device per Login ID. If you have registered biometric in the device, please disable it after login and reinstall the LTS app for the next user to register biometric via the same device.

Key Features for Clients
Enhanced Convenience: Clients may use biometrics (Face ID or Touch ID/Fingerprint) to authorise and submit orders, eliminating the need for manual password entry for each trade.
Device Compatibility:
> iOS (iPhone): Face ID and Touch ID supported.
> iOS (iPad): Touch ID and/or Face ID supported.
> Android: Fingerprint authentication supported.
Security Responsibility: Clients are recommended to only have their own biometrics stored in their mobile device. Any face or fingerprint stored on the device can be used to access the LTS mobile app and trade if biometric is enabled for the respective functions.

Actions Required for Clients
Clients who wish to use this feature must:
1. Update the LTS Mobile App to the latest version (v2.83).
2. Enable biometric authentication (Face ID/Fingerprint) in their device's system settings.
3. Complete the one-time biometric registration and activation process within the app.
