End of Partnership with NTUC Link

Thank you for supporting the Lim & Tan Securities (LTS)/NTUC Link partnership. NTUC Link and Lim & Tan Securities have mutually and amicably agreed to discontinue their partnership in the Link Rewards Programme. For those currently enrolled in this programme, the last day to earn LinkPoints from your trading is trade date 24 May 2024. This is also the last day you can redeem your LinkPoints under LTS' Loyalty Module.

At the end of trading day on 24 May 2024, all existing clients on the LinkPoints rewards programme will automatically be switched to our limtan rewards programme. No action is necessary from the clients.

The limtan rewards programme rewards you with the full 5% of the rewards value. For example, 10 Reward point, worth S$0.50 will be awarded for S$10 of brokerage paid to Lim & Tan Securities. When you redeem this reward point, you will receive the full S$0.50 value. Compared to the Link Rewards Programme, for the same example, the awarded value is lower at S$0.33.

The full suite of items in our Loyalty Module remains redeemable and best of all, the limtan points can be converted to cash and credited to your Trust account for use or withdrawal back to your bank account.

    FAQ - Important Updates on our Loyalty Program Partnership


  • 01. Why is the partnership between FairPrice Group and Lim & Tan Securities ending?

    After more than 20 years, NTUC Link and Lim & Tan Securities have mutually and amicably agreed to discontinue their partnership in the Link Rewards Programme.

    This decision allows both FairPrice Group and Lim & Tan to focus on their respective core offerings.

  • 02. What will happen to my existing Linkpoints?

    Linkpoints will no longer be issued through transactions with Lim & Tan Securities after 24 May 2024. Linkpoints can also no longer be redeemed for Contracts/Contra or for subscription of services via Lim & Tan Securities Loyalty menu after 24 May 2024.

    However, existing Linkpoints can still be utilized until the expiry date. Please login to your FairPrice App to view your Linkpoints balance, transaction history and expiry date.

  • 03. Can I still be rewarded when transacting with Lim & Tan?

    Yes, although Linkpoints will no longer be issued, members will continue to earn Limtan Rewards points.

    Existing Lim & Tan customers earning Linkpoints will automatically be migrated to earn Limtan Rewards points after the market closes on 24 May 2024. No further action is required from your end.

  • 04. Will there be any changes to other benefits or services offered?

    All other benefits and services offered by FairPrice Group and Lim & Tan Securities remain unchanged.

  • 05. What can I redeem with my Limtan Rewards points?

    Limtan Reward Programme allows you to redeem your limtan Reward Points to make payment for contracts, redeem for SGX market depth, SMS alerts or services offered by our business partners, similar to when you were under the LinkPoints programme.

    Your limtan Reward Points can be easily converted to cash via the Loyalty menu in the website or via their mobile apps (iPhone, iPad, Android). After the redemption of points to cash value, the amounts will be credited to the SGD trust account within 2 working days.

  • 06. Is there any difference in the value of the rewards after I switch to Limtan Reward Points?

    Yes. You will get the full value of the reward when you redeem it. For example, 10 Reward points, worth S$0.50 will be awarded on S$10 of brokerage paid to Lim & Tan Securities. When you redeem this reward point, you will receive the full S$0.50 value. There will not be any deduction for programme fees.
